We were finally able to make one of our camping trips, after 2 had already failed (and a trip to California). We had no shade or camper hookups in 100+ degree weather but we had a lake. We went to Yuba and had a great time.
Gabe liked to wade in the water but spent most of his time on the edge playing in (and eating) the dirt.

Here is a rare shot of Zeke playing outside of the water. When we made him wait to get back in until we ate.

Here is Zeke helping "Uncle Nate" catch a fish. He enjoyed helping reel it in.

Here is his first fish! He didn't like it so much out of the water.

Zeke was more than relaxed in the water. But you can tell Gabe didn't like it. He was fine up to his knees but wasn't comfortable beyond that. See him clinging to Dad. I Love the contrast in this picture.

He is not asleep but he would have had we let him. He absolutely loved being in the water and never wanted to get out.

Here is Gabe, more comfortable on the sidelines. Had more fun and inched in the water when he discovered throwing rocks in.

I love these boys so much!

He seems pretty relaxed to me. What a cutie!

We pulled Zeke out and he was freezing but still wanted to go back in. Once bundled and warm he fell right to sleep. I enjoyed snuggling with him.

For those that never got to see...As we were packing up we had the camper door open but the screen shut, Gabe started slapping the screen. I ran over to him saying no Gabe and was within arms reach as the door flew open and Gabe flew out, right onto his face. It was soooo sad. I felt so bad.

This picture was 2 hours later at least, and still looks super painful. He bit a hole through his tongue, got a fat lip, bloody nose and bit the tip of his tongue too. The wierd part is my nephew had almost the same marks on his tongue a couple weeks before...they seem to copy each other with injuries.
