Blessing Day

Gabriel's blessing was May 3rd. He looks so handsome in his suit.
I didn't realize until almost everyone was gone but almost my whole family was there for it, which I didn't expect. I wish I would have taken pictures, guess they lucked out!

I swear this kid knows I'm taking photos. He strikes a different pose with each shot.

Shh. He's sleeeeping.

And here is a family photo. 20 shots, you'd think one of them would have looked good. Guess we should have changed some of the people in it, ha ha.

Cutie Pies

One of my very favorite pictures! They are so darn cute!

Here they are in their matching outfits after the blessing.

Ezekiel

While we were at the hospital my sister Katie and her kids came over to watch Zeke. (Her boy is 2 1/2 and Zeke is 14 months, almost the same size). While they were here they taught each other a few things.

Zeke taught Colton how to headbutt everything. And Colton taught Zeke that the house was not child proof, and how to paint. I had this craft paint on my desk so I could do hand and footprints of Gabriel. I think Zeke found it and Colton showed him how to open it.

Wow, this is fun! The next day Colton found the white out and tried it all again!

What a pose.

I am so happy! And yes I would be even happier if I could be outside all day long.

Gabriel is One Month

He's so cute! He is a good boy. This month has gone by fairly quickly. I feel bad because I don't get as much one on one time with him as I'd like. He looked like Zeke to me when he was born but as time goes on I see more and more Worwood in him (me). His eyes are still hazel, not sure if that will stick or if he'll go brown.

He smiles all the time, awake or asleep. They say they don't smile until later unless it's gas, but both our boys smiled right from the start! The older he gets, the more time he spends smiling! I am just lucky I guess.

I'm still amazed at how strong this kid is. Here he is holding up his head. He still rolls over all the time. And when he stretches it's like he's doing a backbend!
Our struggles are at night. He sleeps okay at first but then we struggle still with eating and later in the night he gets real grunty and has a hard time sleeping! Needless to say I am tired a lot. I mostly worry about him because his eating is getting worse, he struggles with it more now than he did to begin with, but so far he's still gaining so I guess we're doing okay.

Here is his birth announcement. We just made a couple of them so most of you will not get a copy of it, that's what the blog is for right?!

Family Reunion

We had a surprise reunion to highlight my grandma. She was suprised and so happy! I was able to get a couple of 4 generation pictures! We love you Grandma!

Zeke loves things with wheels. He hasn't figured out doctor office means shots, instead he likes to go to play with the chair on wheels. (If only it would stay that way)

Poor guy, we wore him out!

More Easter Pics

These were taken a few days after Easter at Grandma's house. Unfortunately even with more time, I couldn't get both of them to look at the camera. (or either of them)

Zeke was really cute with them the first time he saw them. He was actually timid to walk past the bunnies or chicks alone, it was cute. Then he loved them and kept saying bunny and bodie (birdie).

You can't tell by this picture, but Gabriel actually holds up his head really well already. He is so strong. He has rolled over on the bed a few times, and on us. He also sleeps on his side all the time. He arches his back really far a lot also.

Yes, we know he needs a haircut. He's still cute though, of course! He mimicks most words he hears. He jabbers all the time. He is such a smart kid! His favorite thing to do is point to, and say nose.

Good News

To some this is old news, to some it is new. Gabriel had several tests scheduled after birth, several x-rays, chromosome test, visit to the cardiologist, EKG, ect. They were worried about his heart and his blood pressure for a while. They even talked about transferring him to another hospital. He was able to balance things out on his own and he came home when he was supposed to. He didn't pass the hearing test on his left side. We went back about two weeks later and he passed. All of his other tests came back fine. We went to the cardiologist and he said everything looked good. He had one valve that wasn't closed off yet, but didn't necessarily need to be at this point. He wants to see him again at three years just to be sure but isn't worried.
Also with Ezekiel he had his last eye appointment in February and they are no longer concerned, he should be in the clear as far as having lazy eye. (We are wondering about Gabriel as well though now, he goes crosseyed a lot). Also Zeke had his last follow up blood work from his tumor and he was within normal levels!
So everything looks pretty good between both of them. Sigh of relief. They are both confirmed super cute also!
