Boys in December

The boys were pretty proud of themselves. I can't remember which was first. They did this whole can, then they did a can of gatorade powder and part of a can of hot chocolate. Probably my fault since they were all in the same place.

Notice Gabe stopping for a little taste.

He always seems to get the worste end of the messes.

Katie had this rocking chair at her house and Gabriel loved it so much she gave it to him. Both the boys love being able to reach and do it themselves.

He's kind of obsessed with crackers lately (and candy as usual)

The boys love to climb on, tackle, and ride daddy. Sometimes the ride is daddy, sometimes it's a horse, and sometimes it's a train. I think he was a train here.

This was how much snow we got. It was all melted the day before. Parts of it were above Gabe's head.

So cute snuggled up with his doggies.

Sledding

The boys got to go sledding twice this year. These are from the first time. Gabe's first time sledding. The second time we went with Jeff, and the windchill was so cold we didn't last very long.

Zeke is such a good helper. They are good buddies.

Obviously they both loved it!

Daddy's turn. He turns into such a kid with the boys, I love it!

whoa, we ran right into a snow pile!

Mommy's turn to try the tube.

The boys are going all by themselves.

Oops they can't steer.

Right into the snow bank!

Day in the Park

Brigham's brother Jeff was in town for Christmas, we went with them to the park up the canyon. It was pretty cold but the boys loved it. Gabe loves the slide. He is pretty daring too.
Wheee!
Look at that handsome boy and his cute smile!

Just chillin' in the snow.

Cuteness, rosy nose and all.

Pause for a family shot. I sure love spending time together.

Climbing the tree. He spent most of his time throwing rocks and snowballs into the river.

They are such good boys. They love it when they have friends to play with.

Brigham and Jeff posing by the falls. Wierd that Brig and I or Jeff and Tiff didn't get a shot, but good picture.

He tried so hard, but he couldn't last....so tired.

Here he is later. He loves to take his food apart. He eats peanut butter and jelly like he does his oreos, take them apart and lick the middle.

Gingerbread Houses

Zeke loves making houses so I had thought about getting him one to build but went back and forth because of price but Katy was nice enough to share with him when her kids made them. He absolutely loved it!

He did everything so well and so carefully. He was very proud of his house. When I told him he could eat it he said okay, then admired it and changed his mind. It took a couple days before the candy was tempting enough.

We helped with the candy canes but he pretty much did the rest!

I couldn't get Gabe to put the candy on fast enough. More of it went straight to his mouth...who cares about a gingerbread house.

He had no problem eating his after it was all done....and before, and during....

Santa

I was not very impressed with our trip to see Santa this year. I was very impressed last year, this year however it was all about the money. Unless you paid them you were not allowed to take pictures except outside the fence about 50 feet away. I could barely get Santa to look at the camera and he refused to pose with both kids together.

At least he seemed nice to the boys, though he kept talking to someone else instead of them.
Gabe is still fascinated by his face.

Christmas

The boys were both excited for Christmas this year and sure made everything fun!

They got stuffed animals and PJ's for their Christmas Eve gifts. We all get the same thing for Christmas Eve, may not be the same thing every year.

They both got the hang of opening presents down really quickly....even before Christmas :)

Zeke sure loves Buzz Lightyear!

I always take a Christmas Eve sleeping picture. He fell asleep snuggling his animals. (I did tuck him in after the picture)

This is how I walked in on Gabriel sleeping. Silly boy and his funny sleeping positions. He loves his dogs.

This is how he slept after I tucked him in...his favorite pose.

Christmas morning in their new jammies.

Gabe loves ripping them open.

Alright new car slippers!

Gabe showing off his slippers and super cute smile :)
